When boys decide that they are going to break up with a girl, they do not always know how to go about this task. This young man is named Joey and he made a choice that cost him his girlfriend. Fortunately for the rest of us, Joey’s loss is our gain. His now ex girlfriend’s older sister decided to post the text message exchange that took place before he was dumped and we are dying of laughter.
This is one 11 year old girl who is not here for the games or the nonsense. We are glad that her older sister Madi saw fit to share this interaction with us. Joey’s disloyalty is not being tolerated and thanks to this girl’s willingness to share it with the rest of the world, other young ladies may be spared. Joey certainly has a lot to learn about how to treat a lady.
Some might be under the impression that this girl is too young to date. In our humble opinion, this girl clearly knows how to handle herself and that is why she will be just fine in the dating world. As soon as she found out about Joey going to the park with Natalie, she was on his case immediately. Her older sister must be proud of her willingness to set this young man straight.
Don't tread on his bed!
While a walk in the park may not seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things, it is a huge deal in the world of grade school relationships. Apparently, this was not Joey’s first infraction. He is already showing all the signs of being a repeat offender. That is why she elected to cut him off before he would have a chance to hurt her feelings any more than he already has.
Joey’s retort is an unwise one as well. He tried to throw the fact that she had purchased him a Starbucks beverage back in her face. Little did he know that he setting himself up for the ultimate own. The elevator metaphor that she comes up with here is an absolute thing of beauty. When she tells him that she has won the fight and that it is really over this time? We could have cried tears of joy.
What do you think of this story? Is this little girl too young to be dating or is this story just right? Be sure to pass this along.
