On November 10th of 2017, country singer Carrie Underwood took a nasty tumble outside her Nashville home. She’d just wrapped up hosting the CMA Awards; since then, she hasn’t posted a picture of her face. Until now.
This was no little fall carrie suffered. She received a broken wrist, cuts and abrasions. Carrie required 40-50 stitches on her face. She went to the hospital two days later to be treated, her husband, professional hockey player, Mike Fisher by her side.
A statement provided by Carrie’s rep was sent to PEOPLE. It said, ‘Her recovery will take some time, and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes.’
It wasn’t long until the multi award-winning singer took to social media to thank her fans for all their support and love. A few days later, she posted an update on her broken wrist. The surgery went well, but she’ll be setting off metal detectors in future. Up to this point, Carrie didn’t include a photo where her face is fully visible. All the photos she posted clearly have her face covered.
Fans have finally gotten to see Carrie’s face uncovered. She posted this picture; she previously warned everyone that she might not look the same. Nevertheless, fans are so excited because Carrie not only looks fantastic, but it appears that the photo was taken from inside a recording studio.
Is there new music on the horizon for Carrie’s eager fans? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
