Vape Tricks, posted videos of a man who does different things with vaporizers. The video in question, shows the man piercing a hole into one of the pods and then squeezing the liquid soap into his vape pen. He then proceeds to inhale the detergent and toxic contents only to be met with devastating consequences.
After the initial ‘hit’ he then shows off some of his smoke blowing tricks. The man then followed his video by posting a PSA to warn his followers to not attempt trying to vape Tide pods.
Vape Tricks has since taken the video off of Instagram due to backlash online.
Procter & Gamble – Tide’s parent company – has already issued a statement responding to the fad, basically reiterating what should really be common sense: just don’t do it.
“Our laundry pacs are a highly concentrated detergent meant to clean clothes and they’re used safely in millions of households every day,” the statement reads.
“They should be only used to clean clothes and kept up, closed and away from children. They should not be played with, whatever the circumstance is, even if it is meant as a joke.”
